For the premiere of the Apple Vision Pro XR Stager Media Server app, Visoric chose a very special venue with the Siemens Power Academy in Nuremberg. Siemens AG is a global pioneer in the industrial metaverse, which is why representatives from Visoric, Nataliya Daniltseva and Ulrich Buckenlei, were very eager to hear the audience’s feedback, consisting of experts in digital transformation as well as newcomers to Extended Reality. They wanted to be informed by Visoric GmbH’s digitalization experts about the latest innovations in the fields of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Spatial Computing, digital twins, and the industrial metaverse.
The excitement and joy were great among the Visoric experts as it turned out they could captivate the audience from the start, leading to a valuable and exciting exchange among all participants.
The XR Stager platform is an advanced, professional, and secure enterprise solution that allows for the quick transformation of CAD data into photorealistic, immersive 3D experiences in real-time without any programming or design knowledge. This platform offers a revolutionary way to handle and present digital twins.
Following the presentation and a general test of the Apple Vision Pro headset, Visoric CEO and digitalization strategist Ulrich Buckenlei briefly spoke about the significance and benefits of visible 3D asset management platforms, the comfortable management and use of digital product twins in companies.
In the practical test, trainers from the XR Stager demo product gallery could select digital models and display them in the field of view of the trainee wearing the headset. The result is seen on our image on the big screen. The real environment appears enriched for the headset wearer with the digital product, in such high quality that virtuality and reality seem to merge.
The XR Stager Tablet-Control software allows the trainer to see what the trainee in the headset perceives and what he is currently focusing on. The trainer can specifically intervene in the immersive scenario, rotate the model, disassemble it, and play animated functions. Thus, in front of the eyes of the trainee and controlled by the trainer, an electric motor disassembled into its individual parts or life-sized airplane turbines ignited, causing great enthusiasm, fascination, and understanding among the audience.
The XR Stager platform is not only compatible with the Apple Vision Pro headset but also supports a variety of other AR and VR headsets like Magic Leap 2, Meta Quest 3, and MS HoloLens. It is also compatible with many other output devices like holographic displays or LCD Power Walls.
