Modern VR Technology Promoting Time-Honored Professions
In a country like Lebanon, marked by economic and political challenges, it is particularly difficult to excite and attract young people to traditional crafts. Professions such as carpentry and mechanical engineering, which once formed the backbone of the local economy, are at risk of being forgotten. Young people often see no future in these professions, as they are overshadowed by modern technologies and careers in the digital world.
To counter this trend and rekindle youth interest in these valuable crafts, VISORIC GmbH, in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GiZ), has developed an innovative Virtual Reality platform. This platform uses immersive storytelling, interactive professional experience experiences, mini-games, and educational films to bring the fascinating possibilities and importance of these traditional professions closer to the youth.
Visoric Supports Young Professionals in Lebanon with a Virtual Reality Platform
VISORIC GmbH has launched a pioneering initiative to offer new perspectives to young professionals in Lebanon. Together with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GiZ), the most advanced equipment for shipment to Lebanon is currently being prepared. This includes 10 Meta Quest 3 headsets for immersive learning experiences and 5 modern Android tablets for controlling and monitoring the content. The platform was conceived and realized by Visoric and is based on the proprietary XR Stager Spatial Computing and Enterprise Metaverse technology.
