On Monday, October 21, a significant event took place in Leipheim: the official opening of TTZ Smart Production and Logistics. This marked a major milestone in digital transformation and innovation in supply chain management. Distinguished guests included Bavarian Minister-President Dr. Markus Söder, Minister of Science Markus Blume, and the President of Neu-Ulm University, Prof. Dr. Uta Feser. Also present were Prof. Dr. Jürgen Grinninger and Prof. Dr. Tobias Engel, who head TTZ Smart Production.
At the event, we presented the current status of our joint project: the Digital Supply Chain Twin. This innovative technology offers a dynamic, interactive representation of the entire supply chain network, providing deep insights into processes. Key features include real-time monitoring, predictive insights, and sustainability indicator visualizations, giving companies unprecedented transparency and efficiency in managing their supply chains.
