1. Why do you regularly attend professional events like the OMR Festival?

“I regularly attend fairs like CES in Las Vegas, the Mobile World Congress, Virtual Laval, or the Hannover Messe because such events are extremely important for me as a digital strategist. They allow me to recognize new trends early on and provide optimal advice to my clients. Additionally, they offer an excellent platform for exchanging ideas with other experts, which in turn helps to expand my network and service capabilities. Moreover, I bring the know-how acquired at these events to my teams at Visoric GmbH and the team of the XR Stager Industrial Metaverse and Spatial Computing Platform.”

 

2. How does the OMR Festival differ from other professional events like CES or the Mobile World Congress?

“The OMR Festival stands out with its specific focus on marketing and digital transformation, while events like CES or the Mobile World Congress cover a broader spectrum of technological innovations. OMR strongly emphasizes networking among marketing professionals and showcasing the latest trends and strategies in digital marketing. It is particularly valuable for professionals in digital media, advertising, and related technologies. In contrast, other fairs are often broader and cover a variety of industries and technologies, making them less specialized but more informative in terms of technological breadth. The OMR Festival also offers a unique mix of entertaining and informative formats, such as music performances and panel discussions, making it a hybrid experience of learning and networking.”

 

3. How do you think Artificial Intelligence can complement or enhance AR/VR technology?

“Artificial Intelligence plays a crucial role in creating smarter and more adaptive AR/VR experiences. Through AI, we can not only improve interactions within virtual environments but also create personalized experiences tailored to the user’s behavior and preferences.”

 

4. What do you think the future holds for AR/VR and AI over the next five years?

“The future looks very promising. I expect these technologies to continue to be integrated across various industries, and we will see improvements in user-friendliness and accessibility. In particular, the integration of AI will make AR/VR applications even more powerful and versatile.”

 

5. What ethical considerations should be taken into account when developing and implementing AI-supported AR/VR applications?

6. How do the latest advancements in AR, VR, and AI affect your work, and what opportunities do you see for their future?

“The latest advancements in these technologies have profoundly influenced my work by enabling complex data to be visualized and interacted with. This not only enhances the user experience but also improves decision-making and process efficiency. For the future, I see enormous opportunities in further integrating these technologies, especially in areas such as remote work, training, and customer service, where they can enable even greater personalization and efficiency.”

 

7. How do you view the development and potential of the Metaverse for digital transformation and customer engagement?

“The Metaverse represents an evolutionary expansion in digital interaction, offering an immersive, three-dimensional world where users can interact through avatars. For businesses, it provides a revolutionary way to deepen customer engagement and create personalized experiences within a virtual environment. This can be achieved through virtual stores, events, or even complete business environments that allow customers to experience products and services in entirely new ways. The Metaverse also enables seamless integration of technologies such as VR, AR, and AI, offering a dynamic and adaptive user experience that goes far beyond traditional digital platforms.”

 

8. What distinguishes the Industrial Metaverse from general Metaverse applications, and what specific benefits does it offer for the industry?

“The Industrial Metaverse specifically focuses on the application of Metaverse technologies in industrial and manufacturing environments. Unlike general Metaverse applications, which are often oriented towards consumer interactions, the Industrial Metaverse aims to improve operational efficiency, remote collaboration, and training processes. It allows companies to simulate and control complex machinery and equipment in a virtual environment, which is crucial for planning, maintenance, and training. By integrating Digital Twins and advanced data analytics, companies can optimize processes, reduce downtime, and enhance workplace safety. Thus, the Industrial Metaverse provides a platform for continuous innovation and improvement in the industry by leveraging advanced technologies to address real industrial challenges.”

 

9. How do you measure the success of the technologies you promote, and how do you adjust your strategies to keep pace with the rapid rate of innovation?

“Success is primarily measured by the satisfaction and engagement of end-users, as well as the measurable improvement in operational efficiency. We regularly employ specific metrics and feedback systems to assess the effectiveness of our technologies. Additionally, our team stays up-to-date on the latest developments and adjusts our approaches by continuously learning and iterating. It’s a dynamic process where adaptability and proactive action are crucial to stay at the forefront of the technological wave.”
